I sponsor one of the county's up and coming event riders, Katherine Wycks. Katherine regularly events at a large number of Yorkshire events and further afield, from the south Coast up to Scotland. With a string of horses from young 4 year olds through to advanced horses, Katherine aims to progress through the ranks and one day hopefully represent her country.
In the first year of sponsorship, Katherine has put the sponsorship monies towards the training of her young horses. Donovan, Bee Classical and Badger are three young horses who are already poised to go on to Intermediate level next season, to be followed by Frankie, Barney and Roxie, all homebred youngsters looking to start their eventing career in 2008.
They will all follow hopefully in the footsteps of this seasons two stars; Thunderbird and Desmond, both now ready to compete regularly at the Intermediate stages and to improve on their placings at the one star level.
I am happy to undertake building and or maintenance work associated with the horse world and Katherine and her team would be happy to act as a reference for work undertaken on her busy yard.
